Up 38.28% YoY! Copper Enamelled Wire Exports Hit New High in April [SMM Analysis]

     According to data from the General Administration of Customs, in April 2025, China's exports of copper enamelled wire reached 13,217.28 mt, up 38.28% YoY and 5.67% MoM. From January to April 2025, China's total exports of copper enamelled wire amounted to 45,256.14 mt, with a cumulative year-on-year increase of 27%. (HS code: 85441100)

      From the perspective of customs data, China's exports of copper enamelled wire in April reached a new high. Specifically, in April 2025, China's copper enamelled wire exports covered 146 countries and regions. Among them, exports to Vietnam amounted to 1,984 mt, up 22.64% YoY; exports to Japan reached 1,573 mt, with a year-on-year increase of 31.76%; and exports to Thailand stood at 1,363 mt, showing a significant year-on-year increase of 70.84%. These three countries ranked among the top three in terms of export volume. In addition, countries such as Mexico, India, and Germany also saw significant year-on-year growth, with Mexico's exports up 126.03% YoY, India's up 168.53% YoY, and Germany's up 84.55% YoY. Overall, in April 2025, China's total exports of copper enamelled wire amounted to 13,217 mt, up 38.28% YoY, maintaining a positive export trend.
